Lab Work:
We offer on site basic blood work, urinalysis and strep
testing (including cultures). On site mono testing is
also available, along with testing for Influenza Types
A and B.

Patient
Records:
For those interested in
transferring to our practice,
we
encourage you to request copies of your children's
records
prior to your first
appointment at our office.
You can have them mailed to
us, or pick them up yourself and bring them with you
to the appointment.
A form for this
request is available to print out on the "Forms"
page, or you can complete one at your previous
doctor's office.
|
Donations:
We welcome donations of
diapers (any size or brand), baby wipes, and
unused pacifiers to have on site for
"emergencies." (Like when the diaper bag
gets left in the car, or supplies run low at
the end of a long day!) These items are not
sampled, but we like to keep them on hand,
just in case!

We also will gladly accept unopened cans of
formula that we can pass along to other
families whenever possible. Given the price
of formula, we really hate for such to go to
waste!
Children's
movies on DVD (New or Used) are also very
much appreciated.

Remember, unless
it is a true emergency,
please call our office
before deciding to go to the ICC or ER,
especially during daytime hours! One of us sees
patients from noon to 1 almost every day, when
many other offices are closed for lunch, and the
other often will stay later than 5 pm if you
call early enough for us to adjust our schedule.

We recommend
scheduling annual physical exams now, as they
can be used to complete those summer camp and
sports forms that get forgotten about until they
are suddenly due the next day! While those
"$25 Same Day Physicals" might sound like a
great deal, problems in growth and development
of your child cannot
be captured in a single visit by someone
who is not familiar with their past medical
history!
Remember, there
are a lot of preventive health issues to cover
at a well check up, so if you have specific
medical concerns about your child, please
let us know ahead of time! They may need to
be discussed or addressed at a separate "sick"
visit, and sometimes scheduled sooner than the
check up. This is not just an
attempt to bill for more visits ... we simply
can only cover so much in a defined amount of
time, and do not want to inconvenience other
patients who have appointments after yours!

Updated and
Reformatted the FORMS Page. Changed file
types to make printing easier. If you encounter
problems, please let us know!
July
1, 2009:
New
recommendations from the
AAP include keeping children
REAR FACING in
car seats until 2 years old.
The previous recommendation was 1
year and 20 pounds, so this is quite
significant for parents to know about
when buying a car seat! Click
HERE
and

for details. |
